Cross-curricula eductaion: Bringing Maths into Islamiyat

I was taking over my grade 1 class from the previous teacher and noticed this beauty on the board:

many angles

And it’s true!

Allah as the creator of everything did in fact create the right, the acute, the obtuse,  the reflex and the straight angle.

However, when the lesson is on arkān al-īmān you’ve got to wonder if it’s the right place to be making this point.

as-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaah wa barakaatuh akhee,

This maybe a bit random, but I’m just wondering if you may have any information regarding finding a working visa to teach in Saudi, preferrably Madinah? I have a BA in english and I don’t know how to go about the process of finding a decent job there. Do you know about any recommended schools? Esp. near the Islamic university there for the men? Jazaak’Allaah khayr. I appreciate any help.

  3. Wa ‘alaykum salam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh.

I’m a bit pushed for time at the moment I’ll try and email you at the comment address at the weekend insha’ Allah.
